We are a team of fire engineers with 80 years of collective experience in fire safety. Threadway was started to address a need we saw in the industry.
Our Mission
The root cause of so many issues in fire safety is misunderstanding, miscommunication, or missed tasks. Building owners need to be empowered and confident that they are taking the right actions. This needs to apply for all buildings, new or old, simple or complex.
Our Approach
There are a few core principles in our approach:
- The same approach should be applied to all buildings. Some new buildings will have a digital twin, some legacy buildings will have very scarce information.
- Owners should be confident in their buildings. All building owners want their buildings to be fire-safe. Providing owners with the tools to achieve this is the right approach.
- Building information should stay with the building.Every time a handover occurs there is a risk of information lost. It should be possible to look at a building from 30 years ago (or 200 years ago) and undertand how the building has evolved.
